sac girls closet is all about supporting under-resourced girls in our community and helping them express their true selves 🫶

back-to-school clothing drive 💖

We collect gently-worn clothing and accessories to help us curate our pop-up shop for high school girls in need of a school wardrobe. Items should be gently-used, clean and free of holes or stains. We will also collect new hygiene essentials. 

🗣️ Get involved! Drop off items from August 14-29. Drop off locations include:

how it works

student pop-up shop 🛍️

Sacramento-area high school girls shop for free at this event. Attendees must sign up for the shop day by August 29 to reserve their spot. The pop-up shop day will be held Monday, September 1, in Sacramento. Volunteer stylists will be available to help our shoppers put together the perfect back-to-school fit.

  • donate gently-worn, school appropriate clothing with no holes or stains to drop-off locations at Rio Americano (other locations TBD)

  • volunteer

  • lend us clothing racks, hangers, and standing mirrors

  • snacks and drinks for attendees and volunteers
